Tough Crowd

Sheer minutes after these events transpired, Bean put down his biography of the Marx Brothers in favor of some lighter reading, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.

  1. Your comic brings back painful, painful memories of my childhood. My parents constantly booed and heckled me every time I tried to tell a joke. In fact, they would would often throw tomatoes at me whenever my jokes failed to make them laugh. I had a personl connection with Fozzie Bear from the Muppet Babies. (Sniff, sniff, dries eyes with a tissue). Well. so much for my sober streak. Thanks Ahhhh, Phooey! I'll be at the bar again.
