I Surrender

If doughnuts weren't supposed to make you poop, they wouldn't be shaped like toilet seats.

Wait...

Happy Easter!

I guess the title of this post should really be "Happy Belated Easter" given that we are one day removed, but I rarely post on weekend days. The rigors of posting a new, hilarious, always-socially-conscious cartoon every weekday really take their toll on my personal life.

Plus, I need a weekend filled with antagonism and cynicism in order to write the next batch of comics.

Also (and this really bugs me), why couldn't Jesus stay in bed for another day? Was there never such a thing as a three day weekend when Jesus was around?

Honestly...

Phun Philly Phacts!

More Philadelphia bashing!

Who loves ya, babay!

But seriously, folks, I love Philadelphia. In fact, I love any place where ads for a Frida Kahlo exhibit are replaced with ads for Gillette razors.

You can't buy that kind of pure, unadulterated irony. Although, I guess someone had to buy the ad space. Anyways...

I'll just leave you with a traditional Philadelphia phrase:

"Go fuck yaself!"

All your Series 2 finale questions will be answered. Not neccessarily answered well, but answered nonetheless.

Bennett Raises to a New Low

I live in Philadelphia. I've noticed that Philadelphia is a city where you can't go 10 feet without thinking you've stepped in dogshit. Unfortunately, you rarely find you are the source of the stench. That's just how Philadelphia smells.

The Feeko Brothers! "Now in Pencil!"

Here is a sketch that Keith Herrschaft, over at Scavenger Road, drew of The Feeko Brothers's (is it s-apostrophe-s or is it s-apostrophe?) best known characters: Pop and Sebastian.

"Young, Lady, this is not something to ROFL about!"

This is not something to laugh about, for sure.

Gotta wrap it up, kids!

The Opening Act

What better way to prepare an audience for their favorite band than to force them to sit through a band they've never heard of, playing songs that are virtually unlistenable, and whose guitarist works at the gas station where you buy gas for your Edsel?

Keith Herrschaft of "Scavenger Road"

Hello, dear readers.

Do your eyes a favor, and check out Keith Herrschaft's blog,
Scavenger Road. Keith is an artist, writer, and animator whose styles are many and whose ideas are limitless. He's a member of my family as well, but that has nothing to do with my high praise. His work is amazing, gritty, surreal, exciting, and, most importantly, original.

Here is a link to my favorite of his posted material. It's a short narrative strip entitled:

Broad-Bot

Enjoy!

It has come to my attention that the less neck you have, the more prone you are to sociopathic, anti-social behavior. I read about it in...

Anagram Generator, or Manager Orange Rat

This is a fun website!

It takes words and spits back the various anagrams that the letters of said words permutate.

Here are the results for
Christian Alsis.

It is any coincidence that one such anagram is:

A CRASS NIHILIST?

Homeless Vaudeville

I've received a lot of angry emails about the way "Ahhhh, Phooey!" portrays homeless individuals. Here's my take:

When the market crashes, we'll all be homeless.

The Feeko Brothers present: "Brenda's Song"

(Click on play button to view)

This is a short video that Billy Bob Thompson from "You Deserve a Puppy" and I filmed over the weekend for a YouTube contest called "Sketchies 2".

The deadline was last night at midnight, and we have to wait another week until we see if we make the next round. Either way, the internet will never be the same.

Also, here is the profile page for The Feeko Brothers. Expect more to come...
