In my unprofessional opinion, Samuel "Refuge" Sero's version of the joke found in the cartoon titled DOOK! DOOK! DOOK! was much much funnier then Christian's original. Mr. Sero entices us by asking "you know what's scary?" and of course we want to know! Why wouldn't we want to know! At this point he has us (the audience) baited hook, line, rod, reel, bobber, lures, tackle, swivels, and sinker. His next step, hit the joke home with a scintillating punchline. Sam reveals that he in fact was much like Christian's cartoon doppleganger, but with the film YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN replacing THE LOVE GURU! Brilliant! Instead of reading a lie created with outdated software, we are regaled with another virtuous story from the life of Samuel Benjamin Sero.
We could all learn a thing or two about comedy from Sam's genius.
You know what's scary? That was me after seeing You Don't Mess With the Zohan.

Move over Carlin.
The Prodigal Son Returns.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "Move over Carlin" does that mean you want his corpse to give me some room to share the coffin with?
ReplyDeleteYou know, I finally draw a comic that took more than 45 seconds to assemble, and no one raves about how inventive and gifted of an artist I am.
ReplyDeleteThis was expected.
That said, this cartoon is based on a true story, and it is in no way a joke. It's a cry for help...
I thought "move over, Carlin" said "move over, Caitlin!" Damn.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't you note that this was the very time you showed an ahhh phooey chin?
